Well I am obviously a bit behind and I’m so sorry about that!  Two weeks off from school brings out the sloth in me.  The idea of getting in front of a computer isn’t appealing and I honestly probably needed the rest!  I decided to post our Christmas card today - late or not.  I hope that all of your holidays have been as wonderful as ours.  I just love this time of year!  It is really the only time of year I feel like it is acceptable to do absolutely nothing and enjoy those around me.  I hope that you had the opportunity to do the same…even if it was only for a few minutes!

We are excited about 2010 and although I don’t make New Year’s Resolutions (can’t keep them!) I just know it is going to be a great year!  Check back next week for more information on our 2010 pricing and sessions!

Again, we can not express how blown away we have been this year.  Lets look at it in numbers:

1 new website, 1 new blog, 1 new camera, 1 new computer, 2 new lenses, 56 new clients, 87 blog posts, 525 fans on Facebook,  and 25,000+ photos taken!  2009 was an eye-opening year for us.   We are constantly learning.  We are learning not only how to provide a cherished product, but how to provide a satisfying service, and how to run a successful business.  We enlisted the services of the famous Dallas based wedding photographer and business consultant, Stacy Reeves.  With Stacy’s assistance we identified our new years resolutions, opportunities, and modified our business plan.  We are extremely excited to share 2010 with you!  We have some huge announcements that will surface throughout the year, so stay tuned!

We do want to announce that Brittani Louise will be introducing a new pricing model in 2010.  2009 pricing will be honored for all sessions booked on or before December 31, 2009 so book your Spring sessions soon!

We will be traveling and relaxing over the Holidays and spending some quality time with dear friends and family.  We truly hope you get to do the same!

P.S.  Photo Sessions make great Christmas gifts!  And I just so happen to know a photographer that sells gift certificates….

Wow! THANK YOU! Corey and I are extremely blessed and want to take a minute to thank all of Brittani Louise’s fans for their support this year. We never imagined our business would grow this quickly and turn into something we enjoy this dearly. We have enjoyed the opportunity to meet so many great families that are experiencing the broad spectrum of life’s journeys.

At this time we are completely booked for the remainder of 2009!  To those of you who have been added to the wait list, we thank you again for your interest and hope you please keep us in mind in 2010.  We will promptly let you know if a session becomes available in the next two months.  We are currently accepting session reservations for January.

We are also very excited about the future of Brittani Louise Photography and we have quite a few surprises up our sleeves. We are making  significant investments financially, emotionally, and creatively. 2010 is going to be quite a ride and we hope you join us!

Quite a few of you have asked to view our Holiday Card Collection and they are finally here!

We have a wide variety of to offer this season. You may access all of our Holiday cards via the gallery section of our website. You are welcome to order online directly through our website or via email to brittani@brittanilouise.com. If you choose to order online, add the card of your choice to your favorites. From there you will click on the shopping cart icon and you will be able to decide on the quantity you need. All holiday card orders must include photos taken by Brittani Louise Photography and all orders must be submitted by December 1st to guarantee Holiday delivery.

Well it is that time of year again and it explains quite a bit! It explains why I neglected this blog lately and why my session availability has decreased. I am officially a full time first grade teacher again! Today I met a new crop of first graders and fell in love all over again!

I am going back to offering only weekend sessions, therefore if you’d like to schedule a session for Christmas , YES I said Christmas, 0r fall photos (my favorite!) check out the availability below and shoot me an email. I have had quite a few inquiries about sessions through November so I have a feeling they’ll go by quick! If you don’t see a date or time below that works for your family just let me know and we can work something out!

I have alot of guilt because I have very much neglected my blog.  In my own defense, I’ve been out of town twice this past week AND had the flu on Spring Break.  Before last week, I can’t really defend but I hope I can be forgiven.  I stayed home from the Oliver family reunion today to rest and disinfect our house so that Corey doesn’t get sick too.  I have a lot of photos to share so please check back this week!

Well I hope everyone’s New Year is off to a wonderful start but with it brings some good news and bad news.. I will let you decide for yourselves which is which. 

A new price list will be in effect on Monday, January 12th.  If you would like to book Brittani Louise Photography with our current pricing you need to do so before Monday, January 12th.
