Yearly Archives: 2009

news flash!

Thank you!

Again, we can not express how blown away we have been this year.  Lets look at it in numbers:

1 new website, 1 new blog, 1 new camera, 1 new computer, 2 new lenses, 56 new clients, 87 blog posts, 525 fans on Facebook,  and 25,000+ photos taken!  2009 was an eye-opening year for us.   We are constantly learning.  We are learning not only how to provide a cherished product, but how to provide a satisfying service, and how to run a successful business.  We enlisted the services of the famous Dallas based wedding photographer and business consultant, Stacy Reeves.  With Stacy’s assistance we identified our new years resolutions, opportunities, and modified our business plan.  We are extremely excited to share 2010 with you!  We have some huge announcements that will surface throughout the year, so stay tuned!

We do want to announce that Brittani Louise will be introducing a new pricing model in 2010.  2009 pricing will be honored for all sessions booked on or before December 31, 2009 so book your Spring sessions soon!

We will be traveling and relaxing over the Holidays and spending some quality time with dear friends and family.  We truly hope you get to do the same!

P.S.  Photo Sessions make great Christmas gifts!  And I just so happen to know a photographer that sells gift certificates….

Corey’s family and I played in Temple the morning of Thanksgiving and although most of them were quite camera shy I think we had fun! I apologize for the heavy photo load here - too many favorites! Noah - Please accept my sincerest apologies for the abundance of Whitney’s photos!

Well folks I only have a few more sessions to share before the holidays and this is one of them! We had a blast running around Old Town Spring!

I just love this family! Our session was so relaxed and enjoyable. We even got to play on a fire truck! That doesn’t happen everyday!

Enjoy your sneak peek!

I just wish this little guy would stop growing!! He just keeps getting bigger and bigger but it is so much fun! He is already 6 months - it is crazy how time flies and it is neat to have the opportunity to see his personality develop!

Love this little monster and maybe his parents a little! ;) Enjoy your sneak peek!

This is such a fun family! I loved everything about this session…their personalities, their clothing choices, the location AND the fact that it was raining! Well drizzling…but we definitely made it work.

Mom likes to follow blogs…which I am a huge fan of…and that is how she found us! I have said before that I follow more than 150 blogs easily thanks to my trusty Google Reader. If you haven’t taken advantage of Google Reader please let me know and I would love to help you set it up!

Thank you guys for enduring the bum weather and I hope that you enjoy your sneak peek!

We were playing peek-a-boo!

I wonder what she is thinking…

I am working as fast as my little fingers will let me! If you are waiting on a sneak peek or proofs before the holidays I really appreciate your patience! I hope to have them all finished by the end of this week!

Another patient family is The Snortlands! I taught Beau last year and just love this family! They are too good looking for words and have a cute dog to top it all off! We hope that you enjoy your sneak peek!

When I look at these two I get sick to my stomach each time.. I mean that in the nicest way possible. Could they be any more gorgeous!?!

Does anyone notice anything about Tex’s collar? :)

Corey thinks that Jake resembles Colt McCoy in this photo. He says if he is as good of athlete as Colt, he hopes he comes to play for the good guys!  Gig’Em!

I love referrals and I love my clients for referring their friends and family! That is really our best method of marketing and we are so grateful to our wonderful clients for spreading the word!

The Hopkins family was referred to us by the Davenports and in the spirit of Thanksgiving we are thankful! We had a great time at Old Town Springs! Preston just celebrated his 1st birthday and he is a cutie! We even found Preston St! We hope that you all enjoy your sneak peek!!

happy thanksgiving!

We are thankful for so many things! Our health, our clients, our puppies, family, wonderful friends, and a God who rescued our hearts.

I know it looks like we only take photos of others but we really do have other things to share! These are a bit late but we snapped a few photos of our girls in their Halloween costumes (on Halloween). Better late than never, right?

These two puppies bring so much joy to our lives. They didn’t enjoy being in their costumes very much so this was short and sweet! We wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving!

A couple of weeks ago we met with two dear friends of ours for a Sunday afternoon session in Tomball!  We really had a great time and raced to beat the daylight and rain.  They were so playful and really up for anything.  We found some really neat places that I can’t wait to shoot at again!

We hope that you all enjoy your sneak peek!  Love you!!

My beautiful friend!

Isn’t Olivia precious!? We had such a great morning playing at Creekside Park! One of the bum things about living in Texas is the lack of cool weather. We want our holiday photos to appear as if we have cool weather but unfortunately it still isn’t here so I’ve found my clients sweating quite a bit!  It is well worth it though because they always look so cute!!  On top of being gorgeous they have the most well behaved dog I’ve ever met!

We hope that you enjoy your sneak peek and when you get a minute you can come by and teach Hazel and Delilah some of Jerry’s tricks!! :)

We couldn’t do a session without snapping a few of Jerry!!
