Project 153

I wanted to take a second to get on my soapbox and share something.  Please know that I don’t usually use this website to share things such as this, but it is something that has really touched my heart.  A few members of my church are a part of an organization called Project 153.  I realize that there are so many ways to reach out and help others, but this is an effort that is very dear to my heart.  I have always had a big heart for adoption and primarily children in Africa.  Project 153 allows you the opportunity to sponsor a child for $12-$30 a month.  In choosing to do this, it provides the child with food, education, medical attention and much more.  If you click on the Women and Children link on their website, you can see all of the children involved and even select the child that you would like to sponsor.  Corey and I have become good friends with Mark Odom and his family.  He is listed as a contact on the website.  I really want to encourage everyone to reach out and help and if nothing else, share this website with others you feel might be interested in hearing about it!  Thank you for reading!

The “D” Boys

Here are my favorites from our session with the “D” boys!  They were such troopers considering that it was freezing!  Corey really enjoyed playing with them!  Can you guess our favorite location??  Enjoy!

Brotherly love.

I love railroad tracks!

I also love bright colors and textures.

Corey’s favorite photographs to take!

We really lucked out with this shot!

I am in love with this old Post Office!  It also gives away the location…

Classic wall!

Bright colors + smiles = Fun!

This was a fun caboose!

blog guilt.

I have alot of guilt because I have very much neglected my blog.  In my own defense, I’ve been out of town twice this past week AND had the flu on Spring Break.  Before last week, I can’t really defend but I hope I can be forgiven.  I stayed home from the Oliver family reunion today to rest and disinfect our house so that Corey doesn’t get sick too.  I have a lot of photos to share so please check back this week!

xoxo Britt
