mccormack family | the woodlands family portrait photographer

Before Corey and I left for our week on the beach, we spent a few mornings with this little guy! The McCormacks are great friends of ours and welcomed Boston into the world 2 months ago. Ranking in the 97th percentile in both height and weight we’re expecting this guy to be a pretty incredible athlete.

I loved the bright colors from this session! I always tell my clients that my first goal in what to wear would be that they are comfortable but I won’t lie when I say that I am a sucker for texture and color!

We love you guys and are so lucky to be a part of your lives! I hope that you guys enjoy your sneak peek!

I’m a lover of baby eyelashes.

meet the newest additions to our family | magnolia portrait photographer

Well on our way to the the Marble Falls race we saw an advertisement for two Border Collies.  After a little begging (it doesn’t take much anymore!) Corey finally called to inquire about the puppies.  We decided to meet one of them on our way home from the race.  Well the breeder ended up bringing both puppies and told us how inseperable these sisters are.  Boy was he right and that is how we ended up with TWO Border Collies instead of one.  We aren’t complete suckers because we had been looking to get two dogs but we weren’t sure if we wanted two of the same breed or not.  I guess we’ll just have to adopt that Golden Retriever in a few months! ;)

We have loved spending time with them and learning about their little personalities.  Many people have commented that after seeing pictures they thought they were much bigger.  They are still puppies and weighed in at 15-16 lbs a few weeks ago so they still have a lot of growing to do!

We still miss Blitz dearly but it has been nice to have a little noise around here! They love their toys (babies as we call them), treats, cuddling and wrestling! They have learned how to get under our bed and hide. They have also taken a bite or two out of the foot board of our bed.

There will definitely be more pictures to come!

Our first shopping trip to Petco!

Meet Delilah!

Meet Hazel!

This is what they do most of the day!

The girls and I.

13 strong | conroe family portrait photographer

Corey and I stopped in Conroe a few weekends ago on our way to his Marble Falls race to do a family session. Now these guys really were troopers because we invaded their vacation and getaway on Lake Conroe to take family photos. I mean who looks forward to getting up early and dressed up on their vacation?!

We captured photos for each individual family as well as group photos. The weather was perfect and it took everything we had not to stay and play in the water with them! I hope that you all enjoy your sneak peek!

My absolute favorite from our session!

mcmurtrey family | the woodlands portrait photographer

A few months ago we spent the morning photographing the McMurtrey family in The Woodlands. You might remember them because of their cute dog Winnie! Well a few weeks ago they were in a terrible car accident and although Adam is doing well, Jennifer is still in the hospital and has had to have multiple surgeries. She is making great progress each day but if you’d keep them in your prayers I know they’d greatly appreciate it!

It is crazy how quickly something can change your life forever.  We are so blessed to still have both of them here with us.
