The last time we saw Miss Riley she was a tiny little newborn! She has grown so much and we loved experiencing her precious little personality. She has found her feet, loves textures, petting her puppy Scout and her Daddy’s fun animal noises. Between her talented Aunt and Grandma this little girl doesn’t have a choice but to be styling! She had so many cute outfits to choose from! Thank you for having us over and letting us capture these moments!
We couldn’t be more excited for this beautiful family! Not only have we photographed their family since Kate was 6 months old, but we have been close friends since Corey and I moved to this area.
We are lucky to have them! We cherish their friendship. We love our deep conversations and fellowship with one another. We have been lucky enough to watch their family grow.

Well you might remember Mr. H from about 6 months ago when he made his big debut into the world!! He was definitely one of the best newborns I’ve ever photographed! I hope I’m not giving anyone a complex but he seriously didn’t make a sound and slept the whole time! It wasn’t anything I did that’s for sure! I think we just got lucky! I can’t believe he is already 6 months old! He was sitting up, laughing and showing off his precious little personality! We were even lucky enough to snap a few shots of big sister too! Well I can’t believe it has already been 3 months since we photographed Mr. C as a newborn! Pretty soon he’ll be crawling and then walking and then graduating from high school! Ok, I’ll slow down… 
3 months can sometimes be considered an age to skip when photographing children because they aren’t quite yet mobile but I just love it! Their personalities are beginning to develop and if you’re lucky then you get a few smiles!
My favorite part of this session (besides spending time with friends) was his outfit! He wore it just for me (I’m convinced) because it had a little husky on the front of his overalls and his little socks even had huskies too!

Well I am obviously a bit behind and I’m so sorry about that! Two weeks off from school brings out the sloth in me. The idea of getting in front of a computer isn’t appealing and I honestly probably needed the rest! I decided to post our Christmas card today - late or not. I hope that all of your holidays have been as wonderful as ours. I just love this time of year! It is really the only time of year I feel like it is acceptable to do absolutely nothing and enjoy those around me. I hope that you had the opportunity to do the same…even if it was only for a few minutes!
